Transfer Articulation

Welcome to the Friends University Transfer Equivalency site.

To view the Friends equivalency for a transfer course:

1. Select the State where the institution was located.

2. Select the name of the transfer Institution.

3. Select an individual Subject area abbreviation or All Subjects.

Understanding the Friends Course Display:

A fully equivalent course will have the Friends course number and title listed.
Courses with TRNS are transferable and will be counted as electives.
Developmental/Remedial courses below 100-level may transfer to Friends as no credit but are not applicable to any degree program.

It is the policy of Friends University to accept, within the limits reflected in this policy, post-secondary academic work completed for credit at other regionally-accredited institutions and recognized foreign universities. An official transcript from each institution previously attended is required in order to be admitted to the university. A transcript is considered official when delivered directly to Friends University from the previous institution via mail or secure PDF. The final determination of whether a transfer course may be used to meet a degree requirement is made by the Academic Dean in conjunction with the appropriate departmental/program faculty.
